We go to this place almost every Friday night with another couple and we absolutely enjoy the place. I love listening to the music and enjoying the smell of the cajun food being prepared. The service is always good and most of all the restaurant is clean. This is a great evening out for people that enjoy southern cooking.

My wife and I loved it. Food was very good! Staff were friendly and helpful. Food came out a little slow but not enough to take a star away. Did I say the food was good!! We like this place very much and will definitely be back. That's saying something because we live 180 miles away. 👍👍

We ate at the Southlands location last night, 2/24/20. The wait staff were great, friendly, and attentive. I ordered the catfish and shrimp, my husband ordered the catfish, shrimp and oysters. The fish, shrimp, and oysters were overcooked. The catfish wasn't to bad, but the shrimp was tough and the oysters were way overcooked. If we return, I doubt we will be ordering fish again. Our bill was in excess of $50, and I definitely feel we didn't get our money's worth.

Had a wonderful experience here tonight! The staff brought out a six piece sampler as we sat down, full of fantastic gumbo, bisque, jambalaya, and more. Our waitress, Rose, was kind and quick and brought out our combo platter of the best fried catfish and shrimp I've ever had. We had the pleasure of meeting the owner, Greg, who met us with true southern charm and a great beard. A veteran a and stand up guy, we can't wait to visit his restaurant again.

Food is really good. I love the salt at the table (forgot the name). Friendly staff and strong drinks!

The food here was amazing! I really feel like the prices were reasonable considering the average meal at most places costs $14 now. The meat in the dishes was scarce. I feel like I only got one slice of sausage cut into 4 pieces in my red beans and rice but the dish was still super amazing! I love that they offered a sampler platter for new customers and it helped us decide what to get. I will definitely be back to try some more dishes!

I accidentally made reservations for the wrong Lost Cajun restaurant but they were still very accommodating. You really feel like you are in a little cafe in the French Quarters which I really appreciated. The food was VERY GOOD AND FRESH. Since it was our first time going they gave us the little sampler so we could taste the main dishes. Our order consisted of the Shrimp Po’Boy, Red beans and Rice, the Chicken and Sausage Gumbo, the Lobster Bisque, the gator bites, and the shrimp spaghetti. Did I mention they are reasonably priced as well! Oh and my Margarita was strong!!! Thank you The Lost Cajun for an enjoyable Father’s Day Dinner #AskShaneequa

I've had many Cajun food before, but this place blew my mind. Amazing catfish, crispy on the outside but so tender and juIcy in the inside. And their red beans and rice was seasoned to absolute perfection. It was as if I was back in the swamps of Louisiana, tasting it from the birth state. Plus, our server Rose was amazing and always attentive of our needs and was friendly and engaging in fun conversations. Finally, the owner Greg was present and we had an outstanding conversation; my buddy and I found that he is a very respectable, hardworking and generous man. Will 100% be back here next time

A small, delicious slice of New Orleans conveniently plated in the Midwest. The food is great and the service makes you feel at home. It was pretty busy Mardi Gras night but otherwise the atmosphere is pretty relaxed.

The atmosphere here is awesome. The staff is super friendly, the GM was a great guy as was our Waiter, and the food....it was so good. Didn't even get a chance to get a picture. The desert survived long enough because I was so full. Good price, good portion size and great people. We will certainly be back.

Questions & Answers

It's open

I don't think so.

There is a limited amount of parking in the front of the store and the remainder is in the rear. Generally speaking, the farthest you would have to walk would be 100 yards but there is usually parking much closer than that

Ok great i will be bringing my wife there next weekend

Oh....65-70 ish. I can’t remember exactly

Yes, they serve lots of different types of alcohol. I highly recommend the frozen margarita or hurricane slushies.

Owner speaking: we don’t take reservations. Usually not needed but Fri/Sat can be up to 40/45 min after 5:30
